Access Membership Scheme

To book tickets with an access discount, we invite you to join our Access Membership Scheme. It is free to join and provides you with regular updates regarding forthcoming productions and assisted performances at Hampstead. As an Access Member you can book tickets without the need to show proof of eligibility each time you visit, and you can email your enquiries or reservations to us directly at access@hampsteadtheatre.com

The scheme gives you access to concessionary rate tickets and, should you wish, details regarding your seating preference can be stored to make future booking easier. If requested, we can also provide cast lists and programme information in large print format, and show notes in CD format.

If we can do anything to assist you in your visit, please contact our Box Office on 020 7722 9301 or email access@hampsteadtheatre.com

The Building: Facilities for the mobility impaired & wheelchair users

Hampstead Theatre has a ground floor entrance and push button controlled entrance door.

We have level access to lifts to all levels and to both the main auditorium and the Michael Frayn Space. These are fitted with low level controls, audio announcements, relief controls and Braille lettering.

There is flat-level access to seats in row G in the auditorium stalls, and there are no more than 12 steps up or down to any other seat in the stalls.

Wheelchair spaces are available in both the main auditorium and the Michael Frayn Space (please inform the Box Office when you book your tickets if you require a wheelchair space so we can find the best space for you).

We have unlocked accessible toilets on all levels.

There is a drop counter at the Box Office and Cafe Bar.

Assistance animals are welcome in the theatre.

Facilities for hearing impaired customers

There is an infra-red Sennheiser hearing system in both the main auditorium and the Michael Frayn Space. Headsets for use with or without a hearing aid can be collected from the Box Office.

Hearing Dogs may accompany patrons into the auditorium. Alternatively our staff are happy to dog sit for you.

Captioned performances are available for most productions. We strive to organise any post-show discussions on these nights, with speech to text transcription.

There are occassionally British Sign Language interpreted performances.

Facilities for visually impaired customers

Guide Dogs may accompany patrons into the auditorium.  Alternatively, our staff are happy to dog sit for you.

Audio described performances (including touch tours) are available for most productions.

Large print or audio brochures can be supplied upon request.
